Lillian Supanich

Lillian Supanich (b. 1996) is a Milwaukee based fine-artist and fabricator. She studied installation and interdisciplinary arts at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, receiving a BFA in 2018. She is currently interested in exploring the latent queer potential of illusion and representation, and her current studio practice centers painting and taxidermy. She’s recently shown works at Some Fools Basement, Grey Area and has appeared in the Madison and Milwaukee Queer Zine scene. Her work is inspired by 20th century art history, her taxidermy practice, internet hoaxes, and her own trans-feminine embodiment
